i want an Isles family episode and all the highbrow, back handed, skeleton packed closest drama that goes into a Constance/Hope run in, a Richard Isles who sips scotch quietly in a corner watching it all unfold and a yelling, protective Jane telling everyone to shut the hell up with her arm wrapped around a frazzled and tearful Maura
I imagine this is how all Maura’s “Let’s go shopping” go. Jane rolls her eyes, but is too whipped to do anything about it and Maura does her cute little victory dance
"We’re not going on a horse ride Maura."
"I simply thought that that would interest you more than…" Maura smiled her dimple-filled smile.
"Urgh, we’re going shopping. Just say shopping," Jane rolled her eyes and headed towards the door.
Maura clapped her palms together and clenched her hands. A little cheer, a victory dance, and they’re off to shop for new clothes - dresses, shirts, and pants.
Maura chose another.
Maura picked another.
Maura looked at Jane.
"Nooo," Jane made a face.
Maura challenged Jane with a look of her own.
"Alright," Jane sighed.
Maura knew it wasn’t about winning, but she did another rendition of her little victory dance before Jane pulled her in.
In the fitting room they both stood, because Jane couldn’t quite reach the zipper.
"You chose it, zip it," Jane held Maura close to her as she whispered, "We can play un-zipping later," Jane planted a smile to Maura’s temple.
"Deal," Maura uttered before she planted a kiss to Jane’s shoulder as she pulled up the zipper, "And you look gorgeous."
"You do too babe, now, can we go?" Jane stomped her foot.
"We can, we can, let’s go home," Maura reached for Jane’s waiting hand.
There were victory dances in various forms, throughout the night that day at the household of Rizzoli-Isles too.
